TCP SOCKET BUFFER

We have a scenario where we issue a setReceiveBufferSize(512K) on the socket. However, we do not get a consistent 512K allocation. We were displaying the buffer size in a log. This is how we found this out.

Initially we get 64K then sometimes 512K. This kind of jumps up and down. Also, we are getting a connection reset from time to time.

Can you please advise us.
