Tech question

We current running Windows NT4.0 (Back office Small business). We decide to install W2K server a fresh copy. But we need to keep all workstation desktop intacted. After the workstation joint the new server and new domain, it created the new profile on the workstation with the brand new desktop. The client lost their desktop What could we do to restore their old desktop (map, share, favorite, Outlook, personal setup…) as they could work on the old server. Are there any how to fix this problem?
