terminal server add/remove program

I have a citrix/terminal server on the netowrk the add/remove program suddenly stopped responding meaning it will not open up I got info from microfto q265829 that I need to reinstall IE6 or IE5.5 but the problem I have is I need to get into the add/remove program to reinstall it. Is there any other way I can do this? I also tried windows update.
