We have just upgraded our PDC (running Win NT 4.0 Ent. Edition) to Win 2k Adv. Server in preperation of running DC Promo to make it the first DC (and PDC Emulator) in our new AD Domain. We did just the basic install of Win NT, as a BDC, promoted itto a PDC, then upgraded to Win2k. That went fine. Ran DC Promo, created our new domain. I then went back and installed Terminal Services/Remote Admin mode and that seemed to go fine as well, but I can’t connect to this server via Terminal Services. I can manage the Terminal Services via the “Terminal Services Manager” MMC, and it shows up in the list of available terminal servers when adding it as a connection in the Terminal Services Connections MMC. As part of this project we also built a new W2k server that we promoted to a DC (the 2nd in our new domain). I can control that one just fine. Haven’t been able to find any artlcles on Technet regarding TS not working after upgrading from NT 4 to Win2k.
