the incredible dell inspiron 5100.. so many problems so little $

I’ve had this dell for not all that long well a couple years, anywho.. it doesn’t read disks anymore or even notice that it has a D drive.. pleaaase someone help me remedy this problem because I have disks that I need to read for class..
