Too many user profiles

I work in a school district. We have hundreds of students loging on to machines in our labs. Each student has an personal User Id. Win2k creates a profile for each one on each computer. this filles up the hard drives. Is there a way to prevent this.Were are using W2k workstations on an NT 4.0 domain.
