Toshiba Satellite 1405Hard drive not detected

Tried 4 different hard drives in this unit. Reset bios updated bios several times replaced the HDD controller board still no boot! Setup was switched around too many times…Anyone have any ideas? Im unplugging the cmos for 2 hours last idea of mine.
