Total Paging file size is set incorrect

I have a user that when you log into his PC, then it shows a caption box that says the “The total paging file size is set incorrect, please goto control panel and set correct paging file size”. It was set at 500, so I have tried 107, 130, 150, and 250, but the error message still appears and its affecting his word and excel programs in office 2000. Any suggestions?
