Track down memory leaks.

Is there a program that will track down memory leaks? I’m supporting a user who has a Dell Latitude 640 laptop w/ XP. She says for the last couple of weeks recently she has been getting virtual memory errors. I took a couple of programs out of the background. Is there anything else I can check?
