Triple boot?

I have partitioned my drive into three logical drives and formatted all with fat32. I installed 98se in 1, win 2k pro in 2 and win xp pro in 3. All seems fine for just a few minutes. 98 works. 2k works but after booting 98, xp says that the filewindows\system\config\system is corrupt or missing. Is it not possible to do this? 98 and 2k still work. Any suggestions?
