Trouble accessing websites.

I’m having trouble using websites that I’ve had no problems using before. On the websites concerned any information that was in the left hand pane doesn’t respond. I’ve contacted the website and they’ve told me to clear my temporary internet files and delete my cookies, which I’ve done but the problem still remains. I’ve checked my security settings against another computer that can use these sites and they are identical. Can anyone help me?????
