Trouble Loading a Program

Having recently purchased Easy CD Creator 5, and a Samsung Burner (CD-R/RW 252B), I’ve had nothing but problems with the software. I’ve been to the Roxio website, and downloaded and installed the update, completed ALL the instructions on the FAQ pages, yet still to no avail. Getting the supplier to srt it is not relly an option, cos he’s hundreds of miles away! The icon appears in the task tray, as though it’s running, but there’s nothing on the desktop. Someone help me, please!!
