Trouble Logging into Internet Sites

Having trouble logging into any site using login.. Using internet explorer 5.5.. have all the security settings set to low and have SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0 all checked in the advanced options.. Running into a dead end
