Trouble with Outlook 2002 Pro

I think I may have picked up a worm. I have run three different scanners and removed two worms, but still have one that causes Outlook 2002 to initiate the send/receive function — even without being connected and with settings that indicate “not” to check for mail or connect.

I was able to export all of my mail into Outlook Express and I uninstalled Outlook 2002 several times and attempted to import the mail, but the original mail that I deleted just keeps coming back. In addition, it comes back with today’s date instead of the date that the mail was received.

How do I install Outlook 2002 Pro so that it doesn’t import mail unless I tell it to and imports mail with the original date the mail was sent?
