True VB counterpart to Access Sub-Forms

by rnemerovsky . Updated 23 years, 1 month ago

I’ve done quite a bit of research on trying to find the Visual Basic version or method of the Access subform object. The closest I’ve seemed to find are the Data Grid components. I still have a few issues with these. In Access I can have a combination of control types per row(combo boxes, text boxes, check boxes). VB data grids seem to only support text box entry/display. Does anyone know of anything that “truly” mirrors the functionality of an Access subform??? Why couldn’t they have just duplicated this functionality in the VB environment? Thanks.
