Trust relationship between W2K and NT4

Have recently been asked to set up one way trust between the older NT4 network and the new W2K network and cannot get a trust relationship established between domains (cannot find “NT4Domain” message from W2K server). Ping shows connectivity fom server to server and have added static mapping in WINS just in case. Still no action. Domains separated by configured cisco 1605 router. Do I need to setup RAS on the W2K server? Any suggestions?
