I am trying to establish a Trust Relationship between two domains over a WAN. There is no problem in pinging either the ip address or the netbios name of the remote domain. I’m using LMHost files at both sides. They both contain that #pre, #dom etc.stuff which i believe is correct. I’ve checked this from the documents about it. ( Q180094,Q178640,Q245172 and some others ). Both of the domains can be seen in their own network neighborhood. After executing the nbtstat -R command at both sides, and then the nbtstat -c command, i could not see the remote domain. However the remote one could see my domain in the list. Enable LMHost lookup settings in the TCP/IP advanced settings are also correct. I’m not using Wins or DNS. What might be the problem ?
