Two Win 2K questions

1. Any easy way to get rid of the programs that still show in the Add/Remove programs list. Most were left there after the upgrade from 98 to win2k pro.

2. Started getting the following message, mostly after an install;

Files that are required for windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions Inseryt your Windows 2000 CD now.

Of course when I do, it just gives me the install/upgrade splash screen. Anyway to figure out what the files are, since windows seems toalready know?
