Unable to open My Computer

With Windows NT4.0 and Service Pak 5, I am unable to double click on My Computer and open it. Also if you right click on My Computer, Open is not in the list. I have local administrator rights on the machine. I have also duplicated the problem logging in as the default local administrator. Any suggestions?
