Unable to run logon script via RAS from

by darrin.ormston@guardianit . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

Help….we currently have an NT 4.0 domain and recently started upgrading some of our laptops from NT4.0 to W2K and I have been getting very flaky results from running logon scripts via DUN. At present I have had to create a lmhosts file but this does not always work. Machines logon fine via LAN connection. DUN is configured for WINS and DNS and have also entered preferred DNS server. Do I need to supply DNS suffix? Server is setup to assign IP addresses. If I try to navigate (whilst on dial-up) to the domain where scripts are held, it says it is unaccessible. We use Kixtart for logon scripts.
