Hi all,
I just installed an accounting software on our Terminal Server, NT 4.0, and SP5. For a remote user to have access to it while on the road. When I launch the application from TS it works fine, but when I do it from the notebook through TS it gives me an error message “invalid sysdata directory, make sure you have read/write permissions to the network directory”. Fine, I checked the permissions and they appear to be right, the group that this user belongs to has full control. So I said I was going to uninstall the program and give it a different path this time around, but when I try to uninstall it gives me an error message stating that “C:\program files\FRx Financial reporting is in use, please close the application”. Well, there is no application running or using it. Has anyone run into this problem before? How can I remove the program? Thanks in advance.
