Unattend.txt

by badhabit366 . Updated 24 years, 1 month ago

After creating an unattended answer file, booted to 98 Startup, initiated smartdrv, ran the install – d:\i386\winnt /s:d:\i386 /unattend:a:\unattend.txt

Install begins, after files copy and pc reboots, insert floppy with answer file, after first reboot, pc pukes and tells me “NTLDR missing” I have to remove the floppy, allow it to reboot, then re-insert floopy with answer file? Seems to go OK, but then asks me to accept license agreement? I modified the original .bat file just to change the drive letter of my cd-rom. Is it the .bat file, the answer key, the syntax or all of the above? It is my understand there is no need to rename the unattend.txt to .sif only if you are booting from the cd.
