Uninstallation of USB Scanner

System worked fine until I took out my printer port and installed the usb cable with hub. Installed software and hooked up scanner but scanner defective so I uninstalled the usb cable and hub and tried to reinstall my printer port. Now system will only go into safe mode. I changed settings in setup and changed them back when trying to put printer back in. Nothing works I’m stuck in safe mode. What do I do???
