UNIX printer help!

Unix, SCO Open server release 5. Okay guys, I just replaced two of my Okidata ML 590’s with brand new ones. i made sur ethey were set-up the exact way as the ones they replaced but yet they don’t work. I know little about Unix but i have done this before with no problems. any ideas? They are connected through a serial card to a digi board. thanks.
