unknown device

I just replaced a hard drive on a pc running Windows Millinium.
After I was done, under device manager, there is a unknown device listed that needs a driver. Using Registry editor I identified the vendor and device by code which turns out to be my modem. I cannot find a driver or fix this problem, any suggestions?
