I purchased ext. warranty for my compaq presario laptop. I spilt coffee all over the keyboard causing it to gradually stop working completely…no problem I just used a ext. keyboard since I called compaq and learned it would not be covered. My problem is this..several months latter the monitor quit on me so I sent decided to send in it for repair making it clear I would pay for any expenses concerning the keyboard only to have them send it back, missing screws, keys, and implying I spilt something on the monitor…this is bullhockey and I will not stand for it….monitor rubns near $1000 but its more a matter or princible…..THe monitor retired all on its own and is compaq’s duty to replace it…any recommendations??I went to compaq and they put me on the phone with (ge their service dept giving me this line of crap…I could not reach compaq’s manager at the time and got mad and steamed out…
