Updating Malware Bits & Bytes on an infected computer

I need to use the “Malware Bits & Bytes” program to scan my hard drive. Trouble is, at present I am being blocked from internet access. I can download the program from another computer and put it on a jump drive to install in the infected computer, but how can I get that program to download the latest database updates before scanning? Is there a way to install the updated program onto the infected computer using a jump drive and then make a scan? How can I do this? What else can I do to get the infected computer to scan?
