I recently purchased 256mb of SD RAM for my HP Pavilion XL768. I already had 384mb in it. A 256 and a 128 chip. The total memory that the computer can hold is 512. After putting the new memory in the computer read it fine. But, after doing a couple of apps the computer crashed(blue screens), with messages like IRQ_Less_Then_Equal was one of the messages. Another was disable BIOS caching and shadowing or something like that. I tried switching slots…same result. I even tried running the computer w/each stick individually and they both worked. It’s only when they are in together I get issues. I called HP support and spent $70 for tech help…didn’t work. If anyone has a suggestion on what to do to solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
