Ok, I received some literature from Microsoft about their change in software licencing. I have read it about 3 times now and still trying to make it clear in my mind. Can someone help? I have a 100 user network running Win NT 4.0 network with Win 95/98 workstations. We have Office 97 and Office 97 Professional loaded on about 60 workstations. All was purchased in late 1997 or early 1998.
My question: Can you explain the licencing change in laymans terms? Then, if we are thinking about going to a Citrix network in 1 yr. should we wait to buy lic. or buy now and have the upgrade assurance? Should we ugrade software at all? We will be upgrading our servers to run Citrix. Should we upgrade network software, workstations and Office now or should we wait?
