I am running SBS 4.5 (which includes a lite version of Exchange 5.5). I just bought a new server for use as a dedicated Exchange server.
The problem is that I could not find a way to move my Exchange users from the SBS server over to the new Exchange 5.5 server. I found some solutions on migrating users from one Exchange server to another but nothing on migrating from SBS4.5 Exchange to a standalone Exchange 5.5 box.
I tried installing the new Exchange server onto a new site using a different server name (of course) under the same organization name. I was able to create a site connector and link the two Exchange servers. However, the “Move users” option is grayed out.
How do I move my users over to the new server? I tried replicating the SBS Exchange server but only a couple of items were replicated.
