I work in an IT company that is providing network solutions for a large government hospital. What the hospital requires is a digitized workflow environment with an archiving system to be implemented. The hospital has three main departments that need to be archived – Medical Records, Employee Records, Administration Records. The rest of the departments need a workflow solution without the use of paper.
What our company had proposed was to use IBM Content Manager solution with the IBM Workflow environment.
The problems:
1. We don’t have staff that are familiar with either archiving or workflow solutions.
2. After contacting IBM, we learnt that making them setup the whole project would cost us “a bit too much”.
3. We just hired/planning to hire a person who has experience with archiving but no such experience with IBM software.
