USB 2.0 Device causing problems

Hi Guys

I have just installed a USB 2.0 CD-Rewriter to my PC but know it has caused both my internal CD-Rom and the CD-Rewriter to report code 31 errors in device manager. I have removed all drivers for the USB device but the error remains. Do you have any ideas on how I can get both these drivers working together without these error messages with re-installing. I have updated the BIOS etc etc
