usb flash drive security

Dear Friends,

Unfortunately for me I purchased an 8gb thumb drive without researching enough and when I seen the new U3 drives which when you plug them into any pc you need a password to access it I was sad. Is there any possible way to add a password to my PNY 8GB Flash Drive so if it was lost or stolen and plugged in it would need a pssword to access. Thanks for your time…
