USB Modem with Win2k Pro

I have an USB modem and I am experiencing some problem in Internet browsing. Once I get connected to my local ISP, then I try to browse Internet, the IE seems like it can’t resolve the name. But sometimes it can resolve. So anyone have this experience or anyone know any document about this. Thank you.
