USB Printer – Map to LPT1 port?

I have a DOS application that needs to print to an LPT port. Printer is USB.

Is there any way to map an LPT port to the USB printer? I’ve tried the ‘net use lpt1 \\computer\printer’, but i get an error stating the printer is already attached to THIS computer.

I only have one computer at this location.

any suggestions? (it’s windows me, but it also happens on Win2k)
