USB Problem!

My computer has an onchip USB. I enabled it in the motherboard, and kept the USB Keyboard support disabled. When i check on the USB devices in the system control panel, i see that the USB Root Hub has a problem. It suggests to check cabling and restart the computer. How do i fix this???
