User profile editor.

System : Windows nt 4.0 SP 4.
A user is unable to open word files.
when he try to do it office give a damage file error and the workstation became freeze.
If i disable the user profile changing the profile name, and log in again creating a new profile of the same user, word works fine, but many application doesn’t work any more.
So i need to edit the damage profile to fix it.
I ask if someone know if exist an editor for the user.dat file.
