User Profiles and Applications

I have an NT4.0 sp6a workstation that is used as a non-linear video tape editor. The company that set up the machine installed all the application software under the Administrator profile. I have hacked at trying to make the software run under the user accounts that were setup when the machine was placed on the network. The software appears to have some hooks in the regisrty that do not seem to follow over to the user profile. Short of reinstalling all the software again, is there a way of totally copying a profile and then renaming it?
