Users need to access mail from Yahoo…

by leonidasromero . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

I currently have a DSL line installed to our company, running to our BDC, running MS Proxy Server 2.0 which regulates Internet access to our network users. Before this we had dial-up accounts to our ISP. At that time we also had setup in MS Outlook2000, Internet Mail accounts to our ISP mail servers, and some users connected to their own personal accounts (i.e. Yahoo, etc). Now with the Proxy Server in place, I can not get these accounts to pass through the proxy server to get the mail from those outside providers. I have tried to tweak the Proxy to allow the traffic I believe pushes these services, but so far no luck. Any thing that I am stupidly missing? Is there a configuration pararmeter I missed? We will be doing our own e-mailserver in house, but I still want the users to pull the e-mail from our old provider for just a little while, so we can disperse our new information.

Thanks,

Leo Romero
