using an XP program on Windows Vista

by dons_junebug . Updated 19 years, 3 months ago

I had my son install my Broderbund Platinum 15 program (using a jump drive)with addresses, on my new computer which has the WinVista. The program is there, all of the addresses that I need are there, however, I cannot get them to print when I try to make address labels using this program. It tells me that there is an error and to insert the disc. It worked fine on the XP version. Basically, I do not want to have to re-input all of the addresses into the new computer. Is there a way to make this program work on the new system?? I am not really computer literate, I am just a housewife trying do make my moms life a little easier, with address lavels. Thanks for your help in this matter.
