Using Data Access Pages over Internet

What do I have to do to use MS Access Data Access Pages to allow users to browse and update my Access 2000 database over the web? I’ve been able to get the pages to work within the confines of our LAN, but all attempts from outside fail with “…not a valid path…” error.
