Using Dial-up Server

I have successfully set-up a dial-up server at home and have installed CLIENT FOR MICROSOFT NETWORKS, added FILE AND PRINTER SHARING, and have shared a folder (e.g. My Documents). I asked my friend to connect to my dial-up server. We were able to successfully connect and we were able to send messages through WinPopup, however we weren’t able to browse through each other’s networks. She couldn’t see my shared folders and I couldn’t see her’s as well. Any advice on this?
