using ILS with NAT

by yvartan . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I have a NT server 4.0 SP 6 machine that is configured to be the ILS server, and to Netmeeting clients, one behind the PIX firewall using NAT.

The other one connects to internet via DSL Line.

On The firewall all the ports are open it onlytranslates private IP address to public IP address.

When I am starting the session without using the ILS server netmeeting works on both directions.

But when I am using the ILS server then is works from Inside (From Firewalled side out) but not the other way.

But when I am trying to start the netmeeting session from Outside (DSL Connected PC ) to inside,

the outside PC is seeing the real address of the inside PC (Private address 10.0.0.0) and not the public address of the PC(NATed)

The DSL Connected PC and the ISL Server have the public IP Address and the client behind the firewall has the private IP Address.

Any help would be appreciated
