Using MMC “Snap-In”

by abruzzo . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

I am running Win2K Professional on several Machines (No Server). I have administrator rights on all machines. I am trying to set up a MMC disk managment snap-in for another machine (#2) on our Peer-to-Peer network. On machine #2 I have shares on all drives. When I try to access this machine from the snap in on machine #1 I get a meesage “you do not have access rights to this service”. I can not find the service or permission that controls this. Note I can connect to this machine thru Localnetwork with no problem. I have reviewed several resource books an can’t find the answer
