Using MSCOMM in VB6 under WIN NT/2000

I have an app which runs perfectly under WIN98 & WIN ME but fails when running under WIN NT/2000.

Does anyone have the same experience of using the MSCOMM control with the same results.

If you do could you please let me know how you solved it?
