Using W32 Time on A Windows NT WorkStati

When using W32Time in a primary Time Server
Application. Does the Primary Time Server need to be a Windows WorkStation or could it be a AlphaServer running Unix. It works when a Windows NT is the Primary Server but doesn’t work when we make the Alpha the Primary Time Server. Any Help??
