Verizon wireless broadband modem card and Wi-Fi?

I live out in the AZ desert and my only connection to online is through my Verizon broadband modem card. I really want to make it Wi-Fi so I can update my Psp and Ps3 players and do maybe do remote play. I have a laptop with wireless installed. I have a Netgear router, but I think it only supports cable and dsl…
