VESA DRIVER needed for a DOS game

Here is the ERROR MESSAGE I receive upon trying to run my DOS game with in the WINDOWS MS-DOS Window:

Error: unable to set requested graphic mode, please check your VESA driver

I have an old list of Supported Chips and the AMD is not listed…is it now compatible?

If so where can I get this VESA driver needed?

I would really like to run this game with in the MS-DOS Window has I will have more controll over the sound ect..

I only have DOS 7 that came with WIN98. I boot my computer to the DOS prompt. I have tried playing it from the DOS prompt and it just reboots the machine.

MS-DOS Mode – a couple of times I have gotten it to play for a bit but now it just reboots.
