Video memory sharing and Vista Aero desktop

Hi All,
On a Toshiba Laptop (new model # p205-6267) with 2 gb ram. How can I coax the video card (shared ram) to use more ram to utilize the aero desktop. It is currently only displaying a standard 2d (circa XP) display.
