viewing mapped network drives

user is using win2k OS and connecting to a WIN2K server. he gets connected and sees the network and can be seen on the network as well but whenever I try to mapped a network drive it maps it but i couldn’t see it thru windows explorer nor see it in my computer. I know that it maps because when i try to do it again it shows that it is already mapped. All protocols needed are loaded.
